The Ancestrol History of Ghanshyam Maharaj

In the north of India, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, in a town near the river Sarchoo called Gorakpur, Ramprasad was born into the following cast:- 

Sarvariya - Samvedh - Kothmi sakba - Brahmin 

The following represents the ancestral fathers of Ghanshyam Maharaj 

Ramprasad 
Gharnighar (Moved to live in Nepal) 
Gangaprasad 
Laxmanram (Moved to Ittar) 
Vansidhar 
Vedhman 
Kanayan 
Balsharma + Bhaghyaviti 
Dharmdev + Bhaktimata 

Dharmdev, real name Devsharma or Hariprasad was born in Ittar on Samvant 1796, Kartik Sud, Ekadashi (Prabhodhani).

Bhaktimata, also known as Murti or Premvati and whose birth name was Bala, was born in Chappaiya on Samvant 1798, Kartik Sud, Poonam.

Bhaktimata's Father's name was Krishnasharma and Mother's name was Bhavan 

Krishnasharma had no sons, so he made a request to Balsharma, father of Dharmdev, whether he would allow Dharmdev and Bhaktimata to move and live in Chappaiya after their marriage. This request was granted and honoured by Balsharma. 

Hanuman (Kuldev) and Kamladevi (Kuldevi) are the two persons which Ghanshyam looks to when seeking protection. Hanuman is immortal, i.e. lives forever whilst Kamladevi is a mortal.
